Seussical's over!!!

Our last performance was our best by far and everyone was crying before we went on stage. Then we got over it and put on the best show we could. And everyone cried in the end. Then alot of the cast (and me) went to In and Out (yummy!) i had so much fun! I also had to stop one of my friends from sobbing all over everyone (he's really emotional...)

Our set strike was last Saturday and....
I WAS TRUSTED WITH POWER TOOLS, WOOT!!!

Then we went to one of the cast member's house for a cast party. I was pulled into the pool twice and another of my friends got pushed in with his shirt on (he wasn't to happy about that...) i also got to present the giant cards we designed for the director, the producers, our accompianist and our choreographers. I wish i could show you them, they were really colorful and on the back each one had the signatures of all the cast members: 48 of them!!!!

But we're all really sad about it.... I have auditions tomorrow for Sound of Music and i'm also doing a show called Children of Eden. So wish me luck!
But yeah. Just thought i should update this. yeah, i got nothing else....


Oh yeah! and i'm obsessed with a new Musical: Legally Blonde! It's coming here this summer and me and my drama friends are going to go try to see it! The songs are just really catchy!

Oh yeah, and one of the leads for the play went home sick today. Two other characters (my stage brothers no less!) are also sick and my other stage brother has a cold. I'm losing my voice, as is half of our cast. We fail. Epic fail. TTATT

Sorry i haven't written in so long. I've been really busy with Seussical, which opened two days ago.
Also, my B-day was 5 days ago! I didn't really do much to celebrate it, i was doing tech week. Now i'm going to treat you to a long rant about tech week and our two performances.

Tech week lasted from the 25th to the 30th and we worked from 5-6 hours each day after school. It was a lot of fun and i got to to a bunch of art for the sets and stuff. We also had our dress rehearsal and finished all the songs and the blocking. So that was a lot of work. And tuesday was my birthday, so i had to put up with my friends singing happy birthday 11 TIMES! but they were really great about it and i had a lot of fun.

And then two days ago, we opened Suessical. There were over two-hundred people there on friday and i was really nervous. WE SOLD OUT OUR FIRST SHOW!!! it moved really fast, and it was over way to soon. I had alot of fun doing friday's show: we got a standing ovation, which is really good considering it was opening night. The cat in the hat did such a great job; we all did really.... Then after the performance, all the cast and their parents went out to dinner, and that was fun too. So i didn't get back till 12 o clock.

On Saturday, everyone was tired and sleepy, but we made it through with another standing ovation and less mess-ups than friday. I had more fun on saturday, because we put my hair up and it was just really funny. I was basically nicknamed "Frankenstein's wife" for the entire of yesterday and there were a lot of jokes directed at my hair. One of my best friends came for the performance, and she said it was great, so that made me happy too. We didn't go out to eat, so i got to bed at a decent time (after i washed all the hairspray out of my hair.)

So that's a basic rundown of the last week. I've got another performance coming up soon (like in two hours) but call time is in half an hour, so i have to get going. I'll write soon!

Yes. That's right. I've now seen the movie twice and i CAN'T STOP SINGING IT!!!!! i mean seriously! but it is truly great, i love Toby, he's just so innocent and naive and sweet. (Don't innocent and naive basically mean the same things?) i would want to do this for our next school play, but it's rated R; there's no way our school would do that.

Cotillion was a drag as usual. and where were you ? i missed you? Lady Queen LaBird and i had fun though. I have to go now...

OH, and my B-Day's in 11 days?? i think.
Oh and i'll be at your house before 10 AM on sunday to help with the cosplay. That's right people: cosplay. Death Note cosplay. and i'm not gonna blow you off this time either. So HA!
and i've already eaten to much sugar.... it's only what 9 PM?

Hey you guys,
I'm going on vacation, so any comments and all that stuff won't be answered until i get back on wednesday. BUT IT"S SPRING BREAK!!!!
i love spring break.
And we're getting our costumes in next monday, the day after spring break ends! I can't wait! I think now, we have (in the play) a zebra, a giraffe, two tigers a leopard, a ladybug and a bee. And these aren't costumes with like those fake heads and all. Oh and one of the cast members has to be a gorilla for the Circus scene. I feel so bad for her.

So yeah. Vacation shcmacation. I'll be back soon y'all!
